Wilbur was first assembled through the Combat Ready Robotics
club by a team of 3 students in December of 2024. He has gone through
several iterations, each improving on the last design. Succeeded by Alex
in December of 2026. Final Record: 19-18
Alex was designed in the winter of 2025-2026 to counter all
of the weaknesses of his predessesor, Wilbur. Approximately 60 hours of
math equations went into the structural design, heat dissipation, and
overall strength of the robot. This time does not include design, CAD,
FEA software, or assembly. Current Record: 2-2
Box Rush was originally created as a "joke bot" being made
of only cardboard and scrap wood. Box Rush functions by trapping her
opponents inside of a cardboard box, making it impossible to see which
way they are driving. Current record: 4-4
Collaboration
Teamwork is an important aspect of engineering, here's how I collaborate with others.
On the coconut project I worked on a team of 5 to run pre-production testing of electrical/radio systems and led research on protection from radiation.
Similar to "Jarvis" from Iron Man, my assistant, "Meadow" will be able to control everything I need to help with projects, including: lights, 3D printers, PCs, and even a hologram!
I am notorious for finding issues with products. Because of Murphy's Law, I am planning to create an Electronic Speed Controller that cannot fail under the most intense circumstances.
